Nick Forte is an award-winning filmmaker hailing from Bethel, Connecticut. It was after seeing Jurassic Park and Jaws as a child that inspired Nick’s passion for the power of cinema and the artistry of the craft itself. Nick began his directorial debut at age of 10 years old, using a refurbished JVC HI-8 video camera given to him by his father to make short films throughout elementary and high school. It was during his junior year of high school that he premiered his first film – an adaptation of a scene from The Great Gatsby – solidifyng his mindset that film direction was his natural-born calling.

Since graduating from UConn’s School of Business, he has worked for Emmy-winning filmmakers and directed numerous short narratives, documentaries, and music videos for touring artists.  His work has been screened at distinguished venues including the Palace Theater in Connecticut and has been featured on many major review sites including the Myspace Music homepage.  He is committed to providing his actors and crew utmost dedication to making their work shine. His portfolio continues to grow with exacting compositions, compelling human stories and a drive to shape the world through cinema.
